Default How could a Ranger , a Dervish and a Ritualist work together for HM?

as stated in title! 2 friends and i have just completed Factions in normal mode~
and we have started to vanquish areas in cantha. but.. the moment we started in Kaineng City.. it always fails! until just not long ago when we vanquished Wajjun Bazaar after 2 and a half hours of suffering! Having 7 people with max DP!

if anyone knows a way on how we could to this easier please share it with me! we have heroes of all kinds of profession so.. if there r builds that can help us, I'll really appreciate it! thx in advance

btw.. i hope i din post in the wrong place

Test the waters of HM with missions first, not vanquishes.

Gift3d's advice is pretty much the best synergy you'll see between a Rit skill and a melee class.

did you try the triple necro hero / Discordway team build? If you are playing with 3 human players you can have 5 necroes - should be a piece of cake

I'd say make the rit a 600, throw a smiter hero on, it's AMAZING

check here http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...&postcount=237

have either the ranger be a QZ bonder, or a Splinter Barrager, and the derv i really don't know, he could be a support healer/res runner/or LoD runner if you're doing dungeons, which would probally be your best bet, i'm sorry i really haven't touched my derv since the 3rd week after nightfall came out so i don't know.

but i do know, that when i run dungeons, i get a lot of dervs who serve as a res runner and LoD'er, meaning, they basically are there for support, if anyone dies in a bad area, they run in and tank while they res, and also they run around popping all the hidden chests to save the group some time.

you could also w/ the ranger, make him a spirit support r/rt with healing/helpful spirits and weapon spells, mainly Weapon of quickening [skill]Weapon of Quickening[/skill] it REALLLY helps 600 rits, giving them a perma VwK and the smite/bonder the ability to keep a perm spell breaker on the rit.

the 3 of you with a hero, could easily tackle a few dungeons w/ little practice.

or you could EASILY vanquish lots of zones, for title points(asuran, norn, etc) or faction(luxon/kurz).

hope it helps & have fun

Edit sorry forgot that you said factions, yea what you should do is go do MQSC's and etc, vanquish those areas for faction and you could easily max out your kurz/luxon title's quickly, plus take in a bunch of loot while doing it.

Splinter is very nice, but if the Rit is running Channeling for damage, and you have a melee, don't leave out [ancestor's rage].

Also highly recommend the following:

[Warmonger's Weapon] + [Glyph of Renewal], [Ebon Vanguard Battle Standard of Honor], and as was mentioned before [Splinter Weapon].

you can also fairly easily use save yourselves on the ranger. Makes anything HM much easier.

A D/N orders dervish + Barrage or Incendiary Arrows Ranger + OoS Splinter Ritualist + lots of physical heroes.

I advise [attuned was songkai] or [wielder's zeal] with [great dwarf weapon] for the Ritualist, and /W secondaries for both the Ranger and the Dervish for [save yourselves].

It isn't hard to run Restoration and Channeling both. Spawning Power is quite useless unless you are using skills from the attribute, so you don't need many/any points in it to still run a Resto or Channeling build. Dual spec and take 1-2 skills from Channeling to support your teams damage.

Normally my bar would be [build=OgGjkyqG7SvlDYMXAYkbibjeieA]
But if you find your healers or protters can't keep up, you can swap out one of the enchantments for [Watchful Intervention]
